Embrace Your Season

personal growth planning weekly reset newsletter Mar 10, 2024

Are you in a season of business where it makes sense to push yourself?

Or...

Are you in a season where it makes season to choose the path of least resistance?

As I’ve been preparing my business for baby 3 to arrive this summer, I unintentionally started to fall into old patterns of pushing myself.

I was making decisions for the business from a place of doing more *now* so that I could do less *later.*

And while this can totally work... I've learned the hard way this year that the season of life I'm in right now is just one where I need to choose the path of least resistance.

It's funny because I totally knew this when I came back to business last year 4 months postpartum πŸ™ƒ (and this is one of the things I LOVE helping my clients with!) but for whatever reason this year I've been holding myself to a different standard.

I've been expecting myself to have the same output as I would have in a different season of life.

So instead of prioritizing what was sustainable and in my zone of genius, I've been trying to stretch myself and my capabilities.

But let's be real:

On a *good* week I've got about 12-16 hours to work max ⏰, I'm a solopreneur with no contractors to outsource to πŸ€“, AND I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my third baby 🀰.

So it's time to shift my strategy and focus on choosing what is the path of least resistance, in my zone of genius, and what I can realistically sustain and maintain over the next year.

I was inspired by bestie, Mariah Coz, to put all of this into one easy-to-reference document and it's felt so good to have my business strategy all mapped out in one place:

Now my entire business from top to bottom is going to be designed in a way that is incredibly intentional and super simple. 😍

Every program, every piece of content, and every decision will be geared towards helping YOU grow and run a spacious and profitable online business with simple strategies and time-saving systems...

While also being something I can sustain and maintain through the rest of pregnancy, during maternity leave, and postpartum.

From the outside looking in, I have no idea how much of this will be apparent and how much of this is more of an internal, behind-the-scenes shift.

And to be honest: I feel a bit vulnerable sharing this at all because I've been really transparent over the past year and it can feel a bit raw to share things as they unfold.

They don't say entrepreneurship is the biggest personal development journey for nothing do they? πŸ˜‰

But my hope in sharing is to help you see one simple truth:

It is okay to change your mind or your approach.

In fact, I see it as a strength to be willing to try something, assess if its working, and then change when it's not.

So I want you to take a moment and check in with yourself:

πŸ‘‰ Are your actions aligned with the season of business and life you're in right now?

πŸ‘‰ Are you in a season to choose the path of least resistance? Or are you ready to push yourself for a period of time?

I hope that this clarity can help you in the same way it has helped me. ❀️

I'll share more soon but some things you can expect from me include opening the doors to the revamped Rich Mom Club (with a brand new name), re-launching the podcast, and a mix of digital products, self-study courses, and live programs to help you grow and run a spacious and profitable online business you love!

I can't wait to share more with you soon!
